TO THE FUTURE "I am so bored," I said. Boredom had practically swallowed me whole. "I wish I could do something to entertain myself." I had been lying in my bed, staring at my ceiling fan for almost two hours. Behind it, I had my snow-white ceiling. My house had been quiet, still, and just plain boring. That dead silence was broken by a loud rumbling. I just turned on my radio, my Metallica CD, and ignored the noisy noise. Eventually, it faded away. So did the rest of the world. I fell asleep. &nTO THE FUTURE
